Planes, Trains and Automobiles, a classic Thanksgiving Movie.
Over here at monkeyscrolls we decided to watch what is quite possibly the most iconic Thanksgiving movie out there to celebrate the season, “Planes, Trains and Automobiles,” the 1987 movie by John Hughes starring Steve Martin as Neal Page, and John Candy as Del Griffith.
The film is a comedy featuring two men with clashing personalities, fumbling through one catastrophe after another on their way home for the Thanksgiving holiday.
If you’re looking for a movie to toss up on the big screen while you’re chowing down on sum grub this (or any) Thanksgiving, please consider making it this one.
While we definitely recommend you watch the movie, I would love to invite you to listen to our latest podcast where we get more in depth with our thoughts and views about the specifics of the film:
